For a long time now I have been interested in Karuna Reiki, so when the opportunity came along to take the Master’s course in the UK with an attunement in Stonehenge, I was already there.

Karuna is Sanskrit for what can be called “compassionate action”.  It evolved out of Usui and Tibetan Reiki healing methods. The symbols  provide a wonderful, strong energy and heal a wide range of difficulties, particularly associated with the emotional healing process of our chakras, or energy centers.  When activated, the symbols each carry a different frequency.  They are available for everything from  healing at a deeper cellular level, past life issues, shadow self healing, abuse issues, addictions, compassionate action and a myraid of other issues that we can overcome.  This, like Usui Reiki, is a gentle non-intrusive, hands-on treatment that offers healing at a deeper level. The symbols have the capability of activating themselves when they feel the need during a treatment, or will activate when specifically called upon.  That is the magical side of Karuna Reiki.

Being magical, many spiritual beings work with Karuna energy, offering their guidance towards compassionate, gentle action in all levels of healing.
