Munay-Ki, what the heck is it all about? That was the question I had a couple of years ago when Kate first started sharing her knowledge.  First of all, I kept forgetting the name and had to ask her each time we saw each other. However a seed had been sown within me and I watched from a distance at Kate’s transformation. Kate is an inspiration to say the least, as she has created a new life and dedicates herself to the understanding that everything is perfect in the world.

For myself, I have been retired just over a year and my life has been wonderful.  That being said, I felt I wanted to explore and learn something different. Throughout the past twenty years, I have attended many uplifting workshops, have received two levels of Usui and two levels of Karuna Reiki.  However, I had a knowing that I needed to embrace some new information.

It has only been three weeks since Kathy (Kate) gave myself and a friend of mine the Nine Rites.  This process is the most powerful experience I have ever encountered.  Each day unfolds with more direction and excitement with the knowledge that I am on my path.  Never have I experienced more joy and anticipation of what lies ahead.  Old patterns are being broken left, right and center,  and throughout this process Kate has been there for me every step of the way.  This is without a doubt the most powerful, perfect gift I have ever given myself. Now I know as well, everything is indeed perfect in our world!

I began receiving Reiki treatments from Kate several years ago.  As an energy healing practitioner myself, I was in need of healing support and found understanding, compassion and a kindred spirit in Kate.  I found her to have the rare quality of being very down to earth and connected to the Sacred at the same time, which I love and appreciate.

Recently I’ve been given the opportunity to be taught by Kate the 9 Rites of Munay-Ki.  In the uplifting and spiritually nourishing healing rooms of her home, I was moved beyond words as she shared her wisdom, connection and heartfelt desire to uplift her students with the joy of healing.

Kate, thank you so much for sharing your healing wisdom with me over the years.  It’s an  honour to call you sister and friend.
